Strings to the Max
As you Remember I had a 76 Les Paul Standard Restored Partially at a Gibson recommended Level A Technicians shop. I've had it back for a month or so and i'm in process of golding it out (thanks to Brian) went to take off chrome tuning keys and noticed that it looks like he never took them off for the head stock Re-due I paid $200.00 for the head stock refurbish alone. My Question is .....Did he shortcut , or is this normal practice!! Thanks Max!
Scott Rosenberger
They probably ony did the front of the headstock. If your referring to circular dents in the front of the headstock thats from tightening the tuner ferrule nuts while the laquer is still soft
Strings to the Max
They had a case of the " Good Enough's" it sounds like!! I know it takes forever to cure necrosulouse (no spelling bee's for me) Lacquer. Oh well it still looks good I'm my own worst critic!! Thanks Scott R. Max!
