Painting Over Inlays

Hi all,

I'm considering painting over some inlays (just plastic ones - no fancy materials ) and I was wondering which paint would take best to it and, importantly, be most resistant to rubbing straight back off!

Whatever you're painting your guitar with, gloss finish-wise, should work.
