Here is my one post on this guitar. The build process is so long that it has been impossible to avoid multiple posts... Here's the clip of the padauk and kelela Mantis you can listen to while looking at the pics. Starts with both pups, switches to neck pup and then bridge pup. Both GFS mini-PAF humbuckers with Gibson style controls, 24.75" scale conversion neck which allows the same guitar to be used with a 25.5" scale Strat neck as well if one wished... Les Paul controls wide open with full treble. Boggs Posted April 20, 2007 Author Report Share Posted April 20, 2007 Thanks! I do need to move the bridge pickup a bit closer to the strings to get a bit more bite out of it. I tend to have pups at a greater gap from the strings than is recommended because I prefer harmonic structure to power...
