grungehead Posted April 26, 2007 Report Posted April 26, 2007 well, im right handed, but i want a left handed headstock for my ibanez rg i want this exact neck only without the 'seven' inlay and the red head. a nice plain black one with dot inlays would be sick. or... maybe a kramer/jackson headstock that would fit my ibanez? j. pierce Posted April 29, 2007 Report Posted April 29, 2007 Don't normal Ibanez RG's have the headstock facing the other direction? So if you purchased a standard RG neck, and flipped it around (because you're using a left-handed body) you'd have the "reverse headstock" thing going. Although I guess any logo might be printed upside down. Do the RG necks have a non-symetrical profile or something else I'm missing? EDIT: Forgot about the non-symetrical heel joint because of the AANJ. Perhaps you could modify something like a Stewmac or Warmoth neck to fit the AANJ, and go with the "paddle" headstock to cut out the reverse shape that you want? Quote
