I have a student that wants to build an Explorer type guitar.

Can someone please give me the the diagonal length across the pointy bits of the body and the waist measurement. I can work out the other dimensions if I have those sizes so I can order the wood for it.

Also what is the finished thickness?

My explorer is based off the ESP style, so I'm pretty sure it's smaller than a Gibson.

From the lower horn to the upper fin, I've got 28"

At the thinnest width, just under 8"

At the most wide, 15.5"

Thickness is the standard 1 3/4". Hope it helps
