sam_two Posted July 18, 2007 Report Posted July 18, 2007 i've come to re-wiring my project and i ahve the wire in need from the pickups and my pots are soldered together with wire which is dandy, but i need a length of wire for the input jack to the pot. now to be fair i h#am a novice ehre. i've looked around on ebay and on online guitars stores but the wire i've seen seems to be like single stranded copper wire and then insulated in plastic? BUT cant i get (from what i've seen on other parts of my guitar, the wire with 2 strands, one insulated and one not? advice? sorry for the notviceness of this post but i'm going alone on this one. Kappasitanz Posted July 18, 2007 Report Posted July 18, 2007 you can simply replace that wire with 2 strands of normal wire... any kind of wiring will work inside of a guitar (if you have proper shielding). as for the cable you cant find i guess its shielded cable you can get it at radioshack or basically in every electronics store Quote
