Astro2k Posted August 25, 2007 Report Share Posted August 25, 2007 Hi I am putting together a Guitar and it has two humbuckers I want the bridge to just be Humbucker and I want the neck pickup to be coil tapped so i can use it as Humbucker or single coil I only have a volume no tone pot anyone help me with the wiring? and what switches I need. a 3 way for neck and on off for bridge? Acousticraft Posted August 30, 2007 Report Share Posted August 30, 2007 Are you planning on only having one volume for both pickups. Not a good a good move as I think each pickup should have its own volume. You will need a 3 way swich and an on/on mini switch to coil tap it. Look at Stewart MacDonald website and it has wiring diagrams etc that you can print out. I like to copy and paste them into Word then you can enlarge them to a full page for clarity.
