scars_remain Posted September 8, 2007 Report Share Posted September 8, 2007 i have an ibanez rg 550.i stripped it a few years ago and put a tung oil finish on it.I also have a ibanez usa custom with material finish design.i would like to do the same with the rg550.question 1.how much of the exsisting tung oil do i have to remove before applying the fabric materiel design?im on a budget and paid next to nothing for the guitar so ill be painting it with a spray can .my next question is how should i clear coat it ?thanks..
