Wiring A Dpdt As A Spst?

I got some DPDT switches, but I really only need an SPST like This One.

How do I wire up the DPDT switch so it acts like an SPST?. The pic is a MESA channel switching footswitch. I have a Tremoverb and I'm making a strip that has four switches on it so I can trigger all four functions rather than get four individual FS's.

Should work fine to use the DPDT for a SPST. The terminals will look like this on the back:

1. 2.

3. 4.

5. 6.

Terminal 3 switches between 1 and 5 while terminal 4 switches between 2 and 6. All you have to do is wire to #3 and either 1 or 5.
