I have a spare tele neck pickup, and i'm working on a guitar. I was wondering if anybody has taken two humbuckers in the bridge and middle, and a tele pickup in the neck with a 5 way switch? How good would it sound? Would it be worth using the tele pickup on? I've also got a tele bridge pickup in the mail, how bout that in the neck? I also have 2 other single coils, don't know what brand, maybe i could pull what Jehle did for the jellycaster, that is if he wouldn't mind? Except i would want it in the neck position, i don't use a neck humbucker, so i figured i would go for a single or something with a warm tone, for quiet songs, and solo's with phaser and other effects. The Tele bridge won't work in the neck uless you do some fancy routing and very custom pickguard...the base plate on the bridge is an odd shape. We've done a lot of things with Teles here...
