BA3844 Posted February 25, 2008 Report Share Posted February 25, 2008 I will be installing a bridge humbucker in what used to have 3 single coils. I will be cutting up a blank pickguard, so I was wondering how do you know if you have to angle the humbucker or leave it parrallel to the mid pickup. mammoth guitars Posted February 25, 2008 Report Share Posted February 25, 2008 You only need to angle the HB pickup if its of the angled type where the poles will line up with the strings, otherwise for a standard HB pickup install it parallell to the bridge.
