avdekan
hello all my name is Binya, and I'm glad to join this forum. been reading here for ages and now that I actually built something decided to actively join. this place was a big help to me and Im hoping to contribute whatever I can in the future. this is my firs total build from scratch: wenge / maple neck through 25.5" scale ebony fretboard Hipshot fixed 7 string bridge Bare Knuckle Pickups Nailbomb 7 set schaller locking tuners matte, open-pore lacquer. I built it in Jacob's Algranati's guitar building school here in Israel. very happy with the result. Its not without faults, but its my first one so i take it lightly. feels, plays and sounds like heaven http://picasaweb.google.com/avdekan/7Strin...659055684148450 I hope this link works, if not here is a link to the album where more photos can be found. http://picasaweb.google.com/avdekan/7String please share your opinion Cheers, Binya Edited April 10, 2008 by avdekan
anderekel
Looks very nice. I'm not a huge fan of the bottom of it, I like cut outs there, just not the flat ones like that. Very nice job though, I really like the back
Xanthus
Wow! Congratulations, I really like it! I have to agree with anderekel though. If the bottom was more round, it would be nearly perfect, in my opinion. With the maple and wenge and the pickups, that must be one loud and bright guitar! I hope you're happy with it, that is some great work.
avdekan
With the maple and wenge and the pickups, that must be one loud and bright guitar! It is loud and fairly bright, but not in a painful way. can get very teleish when coil-split but gives a very punchy and articulate metal tone - which is my personal cup of tee.
