The most important info I need is the colours name or paint code. The closest colour I've seen is called Sonic Blue. . How old it is ,The model name would be useful to. Mickguard Posted April 13, 2008 Report Share Posted April 13, 2008 Looks like a jazz bass copy with humbuckers. The electrician's tape is probably an added 'feature'. Jay Turser is just a brand for Chinese-built guitars. They start out cheap, their value doesn't exactly appreciate. I'm betting this one is an old model, but I'm not so sure the year it was built is all that important for a guitar of this price range. I mean, the neck could have been built in 2000, the body in 2001, they happened to meet each other in 2004 when the US distributor placed an order for this configuration. They could have easily become a Stagg or an Epiphone or even a Squier. Doubtful you'll find much info on the color, unless you dig through old Guitar Player issues.
