factory5150
Is this compatable or is there going to be a big mess when I spray my 2 part poly clear. Sealer is Lawrence-McFadden vinyl sealer Clear is going to be either DuPont or PPG Thanks, Chris
killemall8
poly can be sprayed over 99.9 percent of bases. but test first anyway.
brownsound79
i'v got 6-7 layer tung-oil.. wait until fully dried and finish it with 1layer Glasurit 2k automotive clear topcoat... its not recommended by most luthier out there.. but hey.. it do fine.. with no peel.. cracks.. TUNG-OIL PROCESSES (NO GLOSS-DULL) CLEAR TOPCOAT..(urethane i think..) glossy very glossy... well.. to shiny for me.. i want that 'washed' worn pair of jeans like finish.. so.. light coarse polishing job will do the job (wet sand 400g s/p) plus the buff... end result.. nicely.. not to 'matte' clear finish.. just like the ol' guitar u used to play.. (but with no scratch..)
