Alumitone Comparison

Hi everyone. I'm "fresh meat" looking for information on my 1st modification.

I'm looking at modding a Yamaha strat copy and I like the Lace Alumitones as new pickups.

What is the difference in tonal quality between the single, humbucker, and P-90 style Alumitones?

Are they mimicing the tonal qualities of these style pickups or are they just physically similiar?

I'll be rewiring as needed.

I'm looking for a clean, clear, full signal that can be "flavored" by effects and amps when needed.

I'm assuming that any acoustic sound qualities can be taken out but not pushed back in through effects.
