Boggs Posted March 13, 2009 Report Share Posted March 13, 2009 This is in response to questions on other forums based on my "I cut my nuts" thread where I noted cutting my guitars' nuts to .009 clearance between the strings and the first fret... They wanted info on the rest of the setup. The first two I checked were .009 clearance at the first fret open and .046 at the 14th fret open. Relief (capoed at 1st and 17th fret) was .005 on one guitar and .006 on the other I checked at the 9th fret. I only looked at the B and E strings 'cause I was tired and wanted to go to bed...
