zayk
I'm back from my little cave, improving from my last guitar..alot. and i have a question Could i get away with JUST a stiffining rod on a 4 string bass? Hard curly maple neck...Or will it bend up still? because my trussrod broke(i need to watch where i step ) , and all i have is these steel rods, i think they're carbon somthinged for strength they have a 1/2 inch diamiter(or the other one...Sorry, i'm very young and suck at math vocab) Thank you, and peace. Metalhead28
Play it safe and buy a new truss rod.
wood is good
Bad idea. Even a guitar without a truss rod is not good. A bass... that would be horrible. You NEED some type of adjustment there.
