I read Melvyn Hiscock's book and this looks like enough design info for me to get started builiding. Any tips, suggestions, etc are appreciated. • 25 ½ in. scale length • 21 Frets • 1 in. body-end neck depth (inlcuding ¼ in. fretboard) • 6/8 in. nut-end neck depth (including ¼ in. fretboard) • Modified telecaster body shape • Standard stratocaster bolt on neck join • No neck angle • Neck –Body Join at Fretwire between frets 16/17 • Gotoh Hardtrail bridge (11mm (.433 in) tall) • 1 ¾ in thick body • No head angle • Telecaster Head Shape • Poplar Body • Have not decided Neck/Fingerboard Wood • 1 lace bridge humbucker • volume control • “B” nut width • 1 Way adjustable truss rod (Adjust at head) • Controls mounted through wood (no pickguard) • Control cavity in back • No binding • contoured back • Dot Inlays • Light fretwire Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
