GREGMW Posted November 4, 2010 Report Share Posted November 4, 2010 Hi I am building a Tele Thinline and some how stuffed up the body thickness.Instead of 1 3/4 its ended up 1 1/2. with the cap.. I am tossing up now if to route the cavities right through the back and put another 1/4 in cap on the back..... IIRC, the very first Telecasters, or Esquires, or Broadcasters....whatever the hell came first... ..were 1 1/2" Pine bodies. So Leo would be proud of ya.
