blackpitt
Hi There Brand new to doing any sort of work on bass guitar at all. I'll try and keep this short. Couldn't see fretboard while doing my first gig in twenty years. Doh! Stage was too dark. Can't afford a status or to have sims do it so I'm having a go at fitting LED's. I bought a cheap short scale fretless on ebay to try before my beloved bass. I'm getting ready to kick off now but when I laid out the bits I noticed a loose black wire. The photo is not great but I'm hoping someone here might know where it's supposed to go. Thanks
kpcrash
That's the ground wire to be routed to the bridge.
blackpitt
That's the ground wire to be routed to the bridge. Thanks Do you solder it to the underneath of the bridge or just lay the bridge on top of it?
kpcrash
You can just lay the bridge on it - I prefer to solder it just to make sure it doesn't move.
