Posted September 23, 2011 Report Share Posted September 23, 2011 Allow me to mention though that if you were using the opportunity to not use epoxy as well as screws that you might get some vibrations that would be heard through the amp,but you could negate that with a thin rubber gasket between the board and the neck. I would use something like this http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MRG-9611/ Now...if it were me,I might take that opportunity to have interchangeable fretboards... That might be just going overboard though..but it is a possibility anyway... You could also ruin the transfer of vibration of the notes / deaden the sound.......
