sjaguar13
I was using a powered mixer, but I hated it. Now, I want a Mackie mixer for the PA, but I need something to power the speakers. I was looking at power amps and found some cheap ones. I don't really know what I'm looking for. I want to run 2 main speakers and 4 floor monitors, with the possibility of adding 2 more main speakers. Am I going to need 3 or 4 power amps? If the speakers are 600 watts at 4 ohms, 1200 watts peak, do I want an amp that between 600 and 1200 watts? I'm looking at one right now that 2 channels, 600 watts at 4 ohms each channel. Would that work?
sjaguar13
600 watt amp with XLR inputs is way too much. Would 200 watts work?
Guest Litchfield Custom Gutars
I usually look for the word Mackie. Not sure what it means, but I havent seen a bad one with that word on it.
