Dean Posted May 16, 2012 Report Share Posted May 16, 2012 I did mine after the carve.I assume you are doing the standard f hole. Make sure you line the f hole up with the bridge in mind.The center line of th bridge should line up with the center of the f hole.You also want the f hole edges cut perpendicular to the top plate. Dean Posted May 16, 2012 Report Share Posted May 16, 2012 I made a template of the f hole out of tracing paper , poked holes in the paper at key places, then placed the paper on the top ,making pencile marks thru the holes on to the top.Then I used a dremal with a small sanding drum on it to cut thru the top.Just take your time with it.Some times I go to YouTube and look at a video or two and get ideas ,too Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
