renablistic Posted January 25, 2004 Report Share Posted January 25, 2004 Here's some pics: I got the guitar for free, so all i'm asking is for what it cost me to reinish it, 75 bucks, or make an offer. I'm not 100% sure i'm going to sell it, only about 80%. It's red, as you can see. there is a burn-through from the power sander. The pups are old, so a bit noisy. The neck is unattached, and i couldn't get the intonation right, so i gave up. I refinished it myself, it was my first. it could also use polishing, with real polishing compound, from like stew mac. Teisco on ebay Thats the same guitar going for 200 bucks, exactly the same one i started with, except i swear it was '66, not '55... oh yeah, and the neck is tung oiled on the back.
