LGM Guitars
There is a product called the black ice overdrive you can install, available from Stewart Macdonald but personally, I'd toss the EMG select and get a better pickup. It's just opinion, the selects are the cheapy EMG's and I never thought they sounded very good to begin with, but then I'm not a fan of EMG's at all anyway. The Black Ice is the only thing I know of right now though.
sick/happy
is their a cheaper opinion. like ripping a similar capacitor out of a drill or something?
LGM Guitars
I never considered under $30 to be pricey LOL only other thing I can recommend is overdrive your amps, get a better distortion pedal, something like that.
sick/happy
I am totally skint. i have no money whatsoever. i was hopin' it'd just be a case of connect that to that or stab your pickup repeatedly or something. and i haven't really got time for the up to 4 weeks posting from to i have 3 gigs coming up. meh. Brian
Raise your pickup closer to the string highth, chances are your going to start hearing a growl known as wolf tone. Most people avoid this like the plauge because it can become over powering and destroy tone, also if your a heavy picker your going to end up hitting the pup alot........
