bancika
Can anyone point me in the right direction please? Trying to do something close to this finish in the attachment. My car finishing guy wants to help but needs a paint code for the mixers. I'm guessing this has metallic flakes in the clear coat and the base is black or very dark gray. Does it need additional clear coat layers above the flake clear coat? Thanks
Bizman62
To me that looks like dark graphite grey with pewter flakes. Or maybe it's black but the flakes make the "pencil" effect? When asking for a glass clear clear coat at the car paint store they sold me some 2k stuff that was intended for covering the flakes so yes, as far as I know the flakes require quite a lot of clearcoat to make the surface level again.
