Four String Posted February 25, 2004 Report Share Posted February 25, 2004 Hello all! I am appealing to all those who may know the value of a 4-string Framus-Werke guitar. The neck is straight, but the body is splitting very superficially. The inside tag says: Framus-Werke Model: 515 (or 575, it is handwritten) Serial No: 11789 Made in Bavaria Germany. I have a chance to buy it for $50 from the local Salvation Army, but do not know if the value is right or if I should not have stepped out of the store without it in my hands. Thanks!!!! Four String Posted February 25, 2004 Author Report Share Posted February 25, 2004 Thanks, Brian! I am sitting home right now wondering if I should have just gotten it. I did a Google and only two pages were returned--the second all in German. The cashier said lots of people looked at it last week, so maybe I'll be down there when they open in the morning.
