tsl602000 Posted March 3, 2004 Report Posted March 3, 2004 I found a 777 blueprint om my harddisk.. it says the neck pocket is 18.9mm deep at the body side, then angling down to 19.4mm, no angle. I think the fingerboard is 1/4" (6.35mm). I'm sure there's other people who know more about ibanez guitars than I do. I tend to stay away from those basswood strat copies... As far as I get it this plan means that the neck pocket has an angle, resulting in an angled neck....Am I wrong here? Why do you think the Jem has no neck angle judging by this plan? Thanks, MK! I editted my post but forgot to take away the "no angle" part.. Sorry... yes, from the blueprint it appears the neck does have an angle.... lemme do some math Quote

jammy Posted March 3, 2004 Report Posted March 3, 2004 The edge of the fretboard is about 7.2mm above the body, and i doubt it rises by much more than 1mm, so id go for about 8.5mm Quote
