John Hargiss from where I live invented the minstrel at the bottom. This must be one of the earlier ones pictured, as the ones I've played look much more professional. Anyway, the guitar is much smaller than a standard acoustic, but plays QUITE WELL in the same octave. Very cool...

Where do you put the straps?

Install a strap button on the tail and use a tie on Quick Disconnect above the nut

You can probably use some of those as a guide to make one? Someone mentioned using a mandolin truss rod to build a short scale neck, etc.

The way the tuners are in the middle of the body. that is severely cool

I have played that guitar, both acoustic and electric, the acoustic one has a little hole in the side where you plug in a stelthascope stlye ear plugs and you can play, it was designed for pilots that play guitar for on long trips and auto pilot is on.

I was at the local music store when the guy came in and let me test them out, the electric actually sounds good through a Marshall amp
