musicdr Posted March 7, 2003 Report Posted March 7, 2003 I know aluminum tape works well for shielding the backs of cavity covers, but will it perform the same function if used in the cavities themselves?Instead of shielding paint?Thanks,mike-awesome forum,by the way. Quote
Brian Posted March 7, 2003 Report Posted March 7, 2003 Some company's have used it in the past because it will work ok for grounding but the main problem sheilding with aluminum is the material composition, it simply is not as conductive as copper and it will not absorb RF signals as good.
