sjaguar13
I want to finish my crappy guitar, but it has binding. Would I sand down the wood, paint, and then clear everything? Would I just clear the wood and leave the binding a long? When I start sanding the wood gettingi ready for paint, would I sand the binding, too? Morben Guitars
Yes, you shoot clear coat over the binding. You shouldn't need to sand it much after you've removed the clear coat from it - careful not to scratch the binding with the sandpaper, it really stands out.
