nsherman2006 Posted May 31, 2004 Report Share Posted May 31, 2004 Is lacewood smooth enough to make a guitar neck out of, or would it take lots of work and grain-filling? I am making a guitar out of lacewood, and i am choosing between padauk for a neck or making it an all-lacewood guitar. Lacewood is really beautiful, and in order to get some contrast, i would stain the neck and body differently, but my real question is, is lacewood suitable for making a neck? Thanks for your help.
