what if?

What kinda effect does anyone think i might get if i shot a basecoat of Chrome and then shot the final coats in a transparent blue.Any Ideas,anyone tried this of have some pics of something similar to this effect? Also has any1 used Duplicolors Metalcast?

that would look awesome......... and wierd....... you would probably get a wierd metallic blue............. but i dunno....... try and and tell me how it comes out...... when i'm seeing how a finish looks i usually do the finish on a 1x1 foot piece of plywood...... thats how i learned to do a sunburst with leather dye lol

There was some talk about this, someone wanted to shoot a black pearly basecoat with blue clear over it, so it looked black but reflected blue... sounds like kind of the same thing?

I used duplicolors metalcast. Wet sanding is huge in the process.

Please elaborate.Do you mean alot of wet sanding or it looks really good after wet sanding
