bleaching wood...

ive seen 'natural bindings' on light color woods when they dye the top, but what if you have a medium color top (like mahogony) and you want to keep the grain and the lines but have a natural binding? is there anyway to do something like bleach it so it just takes some of the color out?

There is a product made by Kleen Strip available at Home Depot. It is wood bleach

Im pretty sure most wood bleaches will take out some/alot of the grain of the wood. Reading your question again, im not sure if that was your question or not.?
