www Posted July 19, 2004 Report Posted July 19, 2004 Paint fumes are highly flammable, so you can't just mount a fan and blow the fume out. For spraying a paint booth is highly recommended, but very costly. I have a covered hence waterproofed electric motor outside my small shop that uses a belt to turn a fan that is mounted on a vent on the wall of my shop. It moves dust and overspray outside fairly well. It is cheap and the fan is well out of the way of the fumes. Quote
