Curtis P Posted July 19, 2004 Report Posted July 19, 2004 OK, my bridge is too high on my RR copy and since I am using a TOM, i lowered the thumb screws all the way, its still too high, i dont like that feel, the posts are as far down as i can make them go, so here are my questions: 1) Can i file the bottom part of the post? i dont want to drill my finished body any more then i have to 2) If I cant file, would i be best to drill more? or just leave the action a little high? it feels like playing an acoustic Thanks alot Curtis Quote

MzI Posted July 20, 2004 Report Posted July 20, 2004 if you know how to or can, draw up a cross section in cad or sumthin to figure out the size shim you need to make it 2 or 3 degrees or whatever for the length of the pocket MzI Quote
