Maiden69
Ok, I'm so mad, today after I finished colorsanding to 2000 I had to go away to get groceries for the house and when I came back the sun messed up my guitar. I left it in the back, under the shade of our back tree, but when the sun moved up it left the guitar exposed to full sun for about an hour or 2. When I went outside there were 3 bubbles on the finish, one of them was huge. I got so mad I busted the big one by pushing on it, and the other 2 small ones with a pin then pushed the bubble down. this is what it lookes now. this are close ups, I will be thinking a way of covering these but by now it's staying like that. Mike Doyle
****...it happens. My Les Paul project was going fantastic when I decided to wipe off my first coat of tung oil on the top. a little lint got into a part still somewhat sticky, and I tried to rub it out. The rag decided to rub through the coat of tung, and through 3-4 coats of stain. It's been hell trying to restain that one part...I cant build it up really, its not like there is much height to the stain, so I'm gonna try slap a ton on then sand down. Just a huge roadblock, my first in my extremely short guitar modding career
