bob7
I'm at a point in my project where I need to thickness plane a body, but I cannot afford to purchase one, and cannot find a rental place that has this nearby. What types of shops should have them? I plan to call and ask if they would run it for me for a small fee.

truerussian558
pretty much any place that does woodworking proffesionaly should have it, most would be nice enough to let you use it, or maybe with a small donation to the coffee fund, as long as your not abusing their kindness and coming in every week and using their equipment, there shouldnt be any problems
