    i can't find any deepset neck measurements, please help. i want to have a curly bubinga top too. do i shave the deepset part and apply the top like normal? what about routing? can someone please clue me in, please! a hotlink would help, with pictures please.....

    well im SORRY that you couldn't understand my post. i'm looking for someone that taught me how to build my first guitar and wanted his input on my preexisting project hence, in progress. and if it wasn't your name and you couldn't understand it then why waste your time with my post?     how thick should i be ordering a guitar top. i would like to do curly bubinga but i'm not sure how thick it should be. i'll be routing it like a LP/ PRS.

    how deep should a deep set neck go? some guitars go a little bit past the bridge and others just half way through the neck pick-up. any thoughts?

    I'm starting my second guitar. my pickups are going to be custom wound pickups. wound by myself. it would mean a lot if you could put your input on my project. hopefully you are apart of this forum lol

    i think that the left one second from the top would be the most comfortable-you asking for input must mean you are happy with your design, personally i would have gone another way.

    i live in Canada, and stewmac won't ship mahogany to me doorstop. and they have a one piece body blank of primavera.....hmmmmmm......interesting. they say it is musically similar to mahogany, but i would like to know if people have been happy with the woods results. it says guitars in the 80's used this wood, but 80's and guitar don't usually match up. please give me some sort of insight.....

    I actually just stopped in to acknowledge the cool Pink Floyd quote... But as far as your question: A dual action truss rod is probably sufficient if the wood you're using for the neck is reasonably stable. Add a couple carbon fiber rods if you're paranoid; it can't hurt. the neck will be mahogany with a rosewood board-no inlays what so ever.

    I'm starting my second guitar and me neck is going to be a set neck. the problem is that the man who taught me how to build, is unable to get in touch with him. he would tell me carbon fiber is as hard as a **** brick house! but most modern guitars are going with the dual action truss rods. the question/topic: what, in your opinion, is best for necks; carbon fiber, single action truss rod, dual action....or any other truss rod. please, discuss...

    i was flipping thru a guitar mag and i saw an ad for some metal players signature guitar; MBM1 i really like the bridges ibanez uses....my question is can you buy ibanez bridges? i like their bridge style, i dont care about if they are good, i want to get one-without buying a guitar(so don't get cheeky!)-so i can make my own for my next guitar project PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

    explain-the volume one-would it be a boost or just a volumecontrol when the wah is on-or can it be that the pedal, when off becomes a volume pedal like the morley peds. does modding them usually mean to boost the pedals ability or just add things on

    i'm starting my second guitar project-if anyone wants a post of pics ask, i'm proud of her-but for my next one i was thinking of a thru neck-but on project guitar the featured guitar has a long neck pocket. i've heard gibson used to use this design WHICH ONE IS BETTER?
