What's the scale length on that monster? That neck looks awful long

Not quite a review but its in Bob Benedetto's shop. You can see it in his book. I imagine it would be pretty good for light to medium duty opperations. I woldnt mind having one but I'd rather spend the $$$ elsewhere.

Thats not what he said, he said he was gonna put a heater IN the area he taped off. Thats how I read it. Either way, I wouldnt want a heater anywhere near where I was spraying.

I might be leary of using poplar as an inlay, its pretty soft.

Yeah, I would use some thin CA and drip it in from the end of the board. It should wick its way through the cracks. Should be a decent fix.

To be honest MATT, now that you mention it, I think thats all they do is spin.

They have flat sides, if youre worried, pick up the jointer fence for the plane.

Yeah, the Dynabrade is an air powered sander. They are really nice cause' theyre much smaller and easier to manuver.

I was getting ready to finish my tele and I bought a compressor from a guy who works for a guitar co. in the area. Long story short, they were looking for a "lackey" to do some of the crap jobs and they liked my tele so they offered me a job. Its part time but its damn cool. Its a pretty small opperation (5 guys maybe).

Matt, there is NO WAY I would ever consider myself worthy of charging a cent for anything I have done. I feel like they should be charging less for the guitars I have even touched Done some sanding on some necks, bodies, some drilling. Gonna resaw some tops tomorrow. They had me do some shaping on some bodies the other day, they were like "here's the rasp, just do this", I felt like someone said "here's the controls, I gotta go take a piss, dont crash"

I have a 12" craftsman (which are always on sale, especially around the holidays) and that is plenty for me. Anything smaller would probably limit me in what I could do.

Thats cool, thats actually one you could glue in if you like, I have heard of a few guys epoxying those type in.

What type of truss rod is it? I only know of one type that can be "glued" in.

Is it dry? I have seen (what I think) to be wood from that seller on ebay and he says its been air dryed for a few months or so. Just somthing to look out for.

And you will probably get a couple decent cuts out of that bit before it tears your neck blank all to hell. Cheap bits are cheap for a reason.
