    I need some help since for my bass project where I'm trying to make a vintage bass, with vintage chrome hardware and I'm already ordering a bunch of old-looking hardware for it, but I want to get a Leo Quann Badass bridge and I want it to kind of fit everything else, so I was wondering how to get it like that. It's okay if it doesn't fit the look, but if I can get it to look vintage it would be better.

    Hey guys, hopefully I can get pictures up tonight or soon, but I can't make any promises. Anyways I thought I might aswell post that I will be selling my SG body, it looks like its made from 2 different woods, I'm not sure what the top wood is, but the bottom looks like maple. It's sanded down, and it's top routed. It has some black line drawn in, but it looks like you will be able to just sand that off. Ready for 2 Humbuckers and it has places for 4 knobs and 1 switch. It also requires a bolt-on neck. Well you can PM or post any offers. I'll be going for the highest and also with the offer tell me if you want fast shipping or you don't care, because I'm not sure about the shipping prices, but I'll go check it out Saturday probably. Edit: I'm interested in trades aswell, but prefer cash. Edit 2: I'll be giving thise to the first offer that is most reasonable.

    I'm not going to sell mine, but does it have to be a factory JEM, or can it be custom?

    I just realized the neck is bolt-on on the SG, so it means the person who bought it would have to make there own neck right? Or can they order from warmoth.com or another site? Just for anyone who wants to buy it.

    I wouldn't buy a car for the finish, but the finish is an added bonus. I feel like making my guitar look good, because I'm not just hearing it, I gotta see it too. Having a finish makes you feel like you accomplished something. Edit: I like dull finishes, but finishes not the less. I would rather it have something on there then nothing.

    looks good. Can you give specs like pickups you used, wood, etc.

    Is it harder to apply the lacquer? Because if there is a big chance to screw up, I might just want to play it safe with yearly application.

    I am going to want to do a natural finish to my guitar soon, so I was wondering what you guys would suggest. To be more specific I don't want it to be very glossy, and would rather it be more towards to dull side then glossy side. Thanks.

    In no order -Protect yourself! -Patience. You will be happier in the long run, and you don't want to make some stupid mistake. -Scrap Wood. If you aren't 100% sure about how to use something(and even if you are) try it on scrap wood. -Draw out a plan with the exact measurements. -And as previously stated. Measure twice, cut once.

    I got Build Your Own Electric Guitar by Melvyn Hyscock and I think its a pretty good book. Also isn't that expensive.
