    if ya want more descriptions, Warmoth has all kinds of descriptions for almost any kinda wood you need. it also says what the tone is like, and how easy/difficult it is to finish.

    hey all i got a Q: i have an rg standard that currently isnt being used a whole lot, and id like to make it remotely playable. the one thing i heard about doing is changing the current stock trem bridge to a fixed with this thing(?) would this work for my rg or am i just gettin my hopes up for nothing?

    i got a yamaha that i got for my 12th bday, and ive used it so much over the years, the pu selector is really messed up. if i switch it to bridge, it works fine, but if i turn it towards the neck, it starts to lose any sound that it used to have. like i have my metal master pedal on full blast, and if i switch it to the middle position, it sounds like im using a weak overdrive pedal. any ideas, please share. and if ya need more description on pu's and all that, ask for em, bcuz iono what to tell ya.

    will do. yeah i love it. which is y i wanna finish it and fix it up. and if neone has any good ideas for the finishing part, please share ur thoughts...i need sum ideas to start off of.

    k. to litchfield, yea i wanbna fix it jus so i got a nice playable guitar sos idont have sumthin that looks like crap. and im not exactly a guitar know it all especially when it comes to tuners. so i dunno what ya mean by "sealed" they gots the lil covers over em if thats what ya mean. sry 4 my stupidity. and when i say the tuners are moving around, i mean you can grab the tuner and move it around in the lil covers. a guy at another place i just went to said theyre shot, but i figured i mite as well try to fix em. o yea! i also wanna refinish, but like i said its not a high priority.

    no clu. but it plays nice and the pedals i tried it on kicked a$$. so i dont really care that much about "cheapest in the line" or nething like that.

    Hokay! so heres da thing. Im currently in oregon for vacation and theres this buy sell trade place rite? so i sees a red ibanez RG 120 for 135$$ so i says to myself:hey! you should get that! so i did. so i have 2 questions. #1) the tuners on this puppy are really loose and i can move em around and all that. and the guy at the store said if i open up the tuners, there'll be a screw i can just tighten. well that obviously didnt work coz im askin ya about it. #2) the back side of the body is kinda sorta chipped and i was wondering how the best/ easiest/cheapest way to do that would be. I would also like to re-finish it, but that aint exactly a high priority or whatever. so pleez hook me up with sum of that guitar-fixin know how and write me up. aloha

    i admire your qualities greatly, sire.(sire meaning lovekraft) and to greg, i was mostly referring to all the stuff i hear at school and the ppl that i talk to online. and im just saying headless guitars arent something that i would play or something that i personally like.lol. for ppl who do, srry i made that choice statement, and i pray for mercy neone who plays guitar will kickass4life. aloha

    good point. the low end models can still be used for liek practice or something, but to say that a whole company is terrible is crazy. and like i said check out schecterguitars.com for the ESP/LT& schecter thing.

    alright...the ultimate solution...get a girl that plays guitar so u dont hafta choose. make sure they love that thing as much as u. (a little less works too) that way u can get action in WHILE playing. its stoopid-proof!
