what you can use aree stains with a built in lacquer but i suggest going to a car maintenance store tell them what you're doing and see what they have. most of the lacquers are the same for cars as guitars looking great man merry christmas Connor

by the way, i found some new epiphone pickups on ebay around 50, thanks for the advice . i can't wait for them to come in. we also bought a new wiring harness and are soldering ourselves Thx a bunch Connor

thanks a lot guys, it turns out that by switching the cables from the pick-up, we've reduced the buzz in half, it turns out the other wire was the ground thanks a bunch

if its a clear lacquer than of course, cause the stain goes in the wood, the lacquer is just for te shine and hard finish connor

i personalize all my bought guitars by never taking the tags off, yeah they get in the way of the tuners but hey it's my trademark -
thanks alot guys i'll check it out. yeah we figured out the ground was wired wrong. we tryed opening the back up but it was sealed with like a factory saulder that wouldn't melt even at 900... thx

it's obvious how the type of wood effect the sound on an acoustic, but why does the type of wood influence the sound of an electric guitar?

I'm building a saga lp guitar kit it's finished but it had a high hum. it turns out the pick-ups are wired wrong. i'd like to upgrade, not cheap but quite nice. i've never bought pick-ups before and have no idea what to look for. Any suggestions?
