charvel model 3A with a kahler traditional trem, volume and tone controls and a 5 way swtich and dual humbuckers. ive been lookin on the 'bay for a reverse headstock neck to pop on it....... just for looks. what do you guys think of kustom amps? i think i might get a kustom 100 watt with a 2x12 cab....... but i dunno. as far as distortion goes it doesnt have any buuuuuut i have a digitech rp80 and the dude at the music store is gonna straight up give me a metal zone with that amp....... any suggestions?

hmm...... i think i might get just a decent vintage head...... and pop a couple celestions in the 2x12 cab i have and run thru that...... and get either a boss metal zone or the behringer spinoff of it.......... i love behringer for being cheap...... anybody heard they're acoustic simulator stomp-box? pretty freakin accurate..... tasty it is and yes i've definitely heard the chariot....... they make me feel like i need to work on pinch harmonics............ between the insanely high distortion and the feedback those squeals make me happy in the pants.

hey sorry guys my comp died for a week and i had to reformat but its all good now....... i've had the opportunity to mess with a 5150 and the sound i got out of it was REALLY treble heavy. right now i'm runnin a crate power block mono into a home-built 2x12 cab. i have my level cranked gain half up and running distortion effect thru a digitech processor (that horrible thing i hate it) i'm thinking about getting a boss metal zone distortion. Im getting an 80s Charvel guitar two weeks from friday so well see what happens if i switch instruments. I plan to have a job by summer 'n' im willing to save till i end up with approx 800-1000 bux.... dunno what thatll get me as far as a full stack but im thinkin i could get rid of the power block and keep my current cab 'n' stuff another pair of 12's in it and splurge on a nice expensive head...... my cab is the size of a 4x12 but only has 2 in it. pointless i think.

hey im 16 jobless and have no money but i should be gettin a job soon. within the next year i think i might get a new amp. i was thinking about building AX84's high octane or high voltage or whatever it is and running it thru a power amp to a pair of 4x12 cabs, BUT i dont know much about wiring things. SO i may buy a stack....... thing is what would be good for playing some hardcore ?(i.e. norma jean, the chariot, stuff like that) high gain 'n' high volume as my drummer hits hard as hell....

that spare kahler doesnt have the screws...... 'n' if i buy it im not gonna part with the screws and buy more...... im probably going to use that spare kahler on a V or warlock build anyways........ speaking of anybody know about the sound of oak as a body wood?...... it's cheap........ and if itll sound alright i may have to jump on it...... and anybody have any advice on carvin neck-thru necks?

hey guys..... im looking at a charvel guitar at the local music shop for 300 bux...... plays like a DREAM......... no clue what model though...... all i know is its either an '89 or a '90. it's got a kahler model 2500 trem and an extra one in the case....... real low action with jumbo frets but doesnt buzz........ locking nut that probably wont be locked all too often. minor dents but i may refinish it anyways. its currently black with a black pickgaurd but i think white with a black pinstripe around the perimeter and two running down the center might look nice......... welp im off to school (2 hour delay) lemme know what u guys think.

i found some solid steel square stuff that's an inch thick and i was wondering if it'd be possible to build a bridge and i wonder if it'd be very hard... i have drill bits that will go through it 'n' i was thinkin about having it adjust length like a fender bridge or a hardtail and then adjust height like a TOM...... anybody know how hard it'd be?

how u guys think it'd look with a reversed jackson style headstock? im thinkin about it........ or maybe a 3 on a side.....

BTW the plan is for it to be an arch top design and not flat.........just to let yall know..... just the carve isnt shown there

i have an old LP junior (epiphone) and it seems to have a raised fret. when i lay into it and start playin it hard the high e string gets caught UNDER one of the frets. anyone know how to fix this?

my buddy wants to convert his 2001 fender jazz bass to an s1 switch and we need the diagrams. sort of like the new ones....... with paralell/series switching...... any help?

i think i might start trying on some lead guitar duty and i just need my fingerboard hand to move faster and my picking hand to be more accurate....... i have trouble doing string skipping when i pick and my left hand is slower than my right hand..... any ideas to help me speed up?

would it be ok to have a piece made with 2 posts to hold it and with a slit thin enough for strings to go through but not string ends?

and could you convert a normal neck to a headless one?

would it be possible to do a headless guitar with a TOM and tuners on the back edge like on a kramer duke bass? (but i was a normal 6-string guiar)
