  1. they must be cheap pickups
  2. thats a heavy rocker guitar. The pen!5 headstock is cool
  3. hell. Ebay has acrylic sheets to make a guitar that are like 5 dolars for it.
  4. well the one on the acoustic section didnt work so, how does the electronics on a acoustic guitar work. How do i put one in a acoutsic guitar thats already built. What do the equalizers do for the electronics.
  5. ok. Thanks. Well when you started this idea you didnt mae a hex drive yet correct (hence start). Well where did you get the info on how to make your first sustainer. I would like to understand more to help you. I have a fix for electronics and can have ideas. If you would like you can PM the info to me if you do not want to reveal it but do want to tell me. Or you just dont want to say. Well i would like to try and make one too. Can you explain how a magnetic field will sustain a vibrating string.
  6. thats a bitch to saw. Can i make that design. Ill make it in a while. Im asking you because its clearly not my design.
  7. suggestions for cavaties would be nice. Anyone have an idea
  8. ok PSW. Now you say Whats a driver. Im new at this sorry. I saw a loot of the stuff. Now on the 9x is the small little hole for the string to go into. Or what is that. Can you explain it a little more like the 8x
  9. haha. The paint is good i guess. Well the paint dries really quickly. Now we my dad did want to paint the guitar, until i realized that there is a chip on the top fiberglass finish that we needed to take care of so, need to wait to paint.
  10. wait i realized that the 2 forces would cancel each other ot more and there by cause the string to stop faster. Ok now im confused even more.
  11. ok i read most of the thread. I can understand half of it. If you wanted the string to vibrate longer (thats my guess of what you said a sustainer does) what about having 2 singel string pickups eqaul distant from the string having the same pole. Then send a magnetic charge through the string in the same pole direction too. This way the string will rong longer. I mean it wouldnt be infinate but long enough right. The magnets on the body would also be at an angle facing the string. Plucking the sting would cause the string to vibrate but when forces of tension bring the string down, the magentic field would force the string up causeing a vibrate up. This would then go back and forth for about 3 times the reular sustained time with no sustainer. Wouldnt it. Just my understanding. Oh i couldnt find the picture with the showing of the magnet set up
  12. scrap. Well at least i hope. My dad is stuborn and might just do it on the guitar himself
  13. well im going to actually use the paint i got. Its the high gloss stuff. Thats what they said at least.
  14. whats the background to the hex pickup. Dont tell me how to make it but how does it work.
  15. oh thank you. I did the same thing put ill compare the 2 together
  16. haha. The problem with your silver tone is thatth neck looks to far down. I mean its really wierd like that. Well is that supposed to be a 34 frett because i wanted to make a 21 or 21 frett guitar. LOL hahahahahahahahahaha.
  17. I got Tomiya Paint which is a waterbased paint. Now i got a thinner cement and i got a base color and clear coat (i think the clear coat is a sealer i dont know) ill give you guys the part number. Tell me if i should return them. The silver Gloss Paint- TS-17 The clear coat- TS-13 Tamiya EXTRA THIN cement (no number) The black gloss acrylic paint- X-1 Now i am doing a silver base paint and having a black burts. Then i was hoping to have a blue tranparent finish but my dad says we will mix the clear coat to do that. I dont think he knows a lot about painting. Now is the 4 items i picked going to do what i want them to and produce a good metallic blue burst (well how do i also mix the blue into the clear coat) Thank you.
  18. you didnt read the whole thing did you. Well im having one of my good friend draw up the inlay for the frett board and also draw the headstock which will be the shape of a web. The frett board will be a web shot like the web rope spiderman swings on.
  19. carp thats a lot of money. I would but i cant spend more than 200 and that how much somepeople sell a full LP acrylic guitar on ebay. No offence. I thinking about making a body. How much was the 2050 x 1250 mm with a thickness of 45 mm piece of acrylic. Maybe ill buy some acrylic off from you.
  20. had one all along Red base paint with a blue burst
  21. dam. Thats pretty big considering a strat is about 13 by 20. and a LP is smaller. !3 by 18.
  22. now thats a challenge but i think im going to hand buff anyways
  23. i got a brand new spray painter today. Its so cool. I dont have a compressor but i got a can pressuized. Oh its a air brush like thing so i can get into small areas easily. its so cool. Spraying the LP this weekend so thats why.
