  1. Ahahah you're right! Sorry pal, I studied a little spanish, but I don't remember too much. And I'm italian.
  2. It was obvious that we were talking of high-end guitars. The point was that a Jackson U.S.A. Select is better than a Jem IMHO. Yeah, Friedman's using ibanez... that man went nut when he recorded Risk...
  3. Sad but true, Mustaine now uses ESP. I didn't say that ALL metalheads have to use Jackson and spit on Ibanez, I said that if I'm going to spend a lot of money for a good metal guitar, I would probably choose Jackson or B.C. Rich (but lower price stuff from B.C. Rich is crap ), and so would do many people I know.
  4. nasty...... tasteless...... What the hell are they smoking all the day?
  5. give it to me you're right, man! rye, give that mustang to PV now!
  6. As a crazy metalhead, I say that real metalheads don't never consider Ibanez as a guitar. Jackson Rules! And I would prefer a U.S.A. strat to a Jem... mmm... looks like tsl602000, jsullysix and me are heretics... this forum is full of ibanez guys But wait, we have an alliance with B.C. Rich, a wellknown weapon manufacturer... oh... they say they're making guitars... yeah, with all that sharp bodies and headstock... who believes them? :ph34r:
  7. :o very very very good looking... is this your first swirling attempt? Looks really great
  8. I voted Marshall because I like the sound, but the best for me would be a Rocktron Prophesy Guitar System pre with Marshall EL34 100/100 Dual Monobloc Power Amp and Marshall 4x12 with Celestion Vintage 30 speakers... yes, it's Mustaine's gear.... love that sound...
  9. Well, you can make an arpeggio over a scale.... Enjoy this E||------------------------------13--17--13------------------------------ B||-------------------------15-----------------15------------------------- G||--------------------14----------------------------14------------------- D||---------------15---------------------------------------15------------- A||-----13--17-------------------------------------------------17--13--- E||-------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1 4 3 2 3 1 4 1 3 2 3 4 1
  10. mmm... Brian, that sounds hard to do, I'll go for Xavier powers.... I'll find a good wire... *looks ravenously around the room*
  11. Hi all, I think that next week I'll finish working on my neck-through, and I should start to paint her. The stupid question is: where the hell should I put her to dry? With bolt on necks, you put a piece of scrap into the neck pocket, paint the guitar and hang the piece of wood used into the neck pocket to hang it. But for neck-throughs? Maybe I should put a hoock into the keyholes?
  12. Yes, I can stay at home in the weekends... but I can't live without my alcohol! Got bad news, they found a 28% of blood in my alcohol By the way, I have a guitar body that is an exact copy of a strato, and has the sunburst finish on it. Since it's already a bit chipped, maybe I can relic it... And the pickguard and pick-up covers already look vintaged .
  13. Hell no! It's just a rehearsing section recorded with cameras! There's no crowd, no old songs, all they do is playing the new songs in the same tracklist as cd's. The only good thing is seeing their instruments, they're always changing. I love Trujillo's Chrome Illusion bass . But it's toooooooooooooo boring.
  14. I glued two pieces of maple for a neck using polyurethane glue. Now that's dry and the excess glue has been scraped, the join is quite visible. Then I realized that the laminates were machine-planed and I forgot to sand them before glueing. Now, I don't mind if the join is visible, since I'll put an ebony fingerboard on it and paint the neck black, but I'm scared it could cause some problems... Should I cut some other laminates and make another neck?
  15. Yes, i know them. But I just can't find anything I like in Death. Sorry . We're doing a Death cover (Misanthrope from Symbolic) with my band, but I'm playing it just because they like it. It would be better if we do Slayer's Angel of Death... Ah, forgot to mention, I LOVE TESTAMENT...
  16. I don't like the first, but the second is great.
  17. I know. But even if I'm not licking it up it's dangerous.
  18. Yes, that was because he was always drunk/high. But the Mechanix solo, that on the four horsemen is played by Kirk Hammett, was Mustaine's. You can listen to it on Megadeth's Killing is my business... and business is good. Mechanix, said Mustaine, not that s**t like The Four Horsemen. I know who exodus are. I'm listening only to thrash metal . I can't wait until 2004 to hear Mustaine's solo album
  19. In my opinion, Metallica died after Kill 'em All. Yes, their masterpiece is Master of Puppets, but many songs in that album don't sound thrash metal to me. Maybe it was because they fired Mustaine... Megadeth was real thrash until Rust in Peace. That's their masterpiece, but it's not like anything they did before. I mean, Lucretia (one of my fave songs) isn't thrash! But... :ph34r: MegadetH ruled, rules and always will . Oh, we're talking about Metallica. I listened frantic, live. Only 2 minutes. I sayd to my friends (real Metallica fans, they would buy a bucket filled with Hetfield's **** for $1000) that sound was like industrial... But, that was live, and no one knew the other album tracks... Then I listened to St. Anger, from the video. Good video, but... Hetfield raps. No more "Yeah!" but that nasty "you flush it out, you flush it out" thing. Anyway, the song was powerful, but there were no solos. Well, at least they're not doing that gay stuff they did on Load & Reload. But... then I listened to the album. Or at least I tried. I managed to go through the end. Well, 75 minutes of the same "snare/frying pan" sound, riffs seems too similar, Hetfield sucks, and it reminds me some of that nu-metal, crossover things... What else can I say? Metallica, I'm in anger with you Kill 'em all, do you guys remember? Kill 'em all. Saying that... Megadeth rules. *Alchool starts listening to peace sells... but who's buyin'?*
  20. Now that's good Seven preview tracks of the new album on it's site...
