What are the stock pups in that thing?

Thanks guys. I'm going to wait until after christmas and take the dive into getting it. I'm hoping they might have SX3 in a january sale...hopefully.

I think he's posted in the 'Show Us Your CD' thread above. His stuff seems pretty good, not my type of music, but each to his own.

I'm posting this in here because i think its the most related thread still going...sort of.
I'm using Tracktion 2 at the moment, but i'm tempted to move over to Cubase SX3, but for £150+ its big step to go. I'm wondering if anyone here uses it and how to use and get used to is it? I'll be using my old Delta1010 with it, so any problems i should be aware of?
Cheers.

I'd go with the Iceman.

+1 on the Mackie Tracktion. Greg got me into it and its one of the best programs i've used.

I was going to get the V-Ampire a while back but decided to get the V-Amp 2 instead.
What does the Chorus + Delay 2 effect sound like cos i use that A LOT...
-
Much, much better. It sounds more full compared to the first one, the bass and panning both the guitars makes it sound like a different track completely.
I've used beatcraft before, its alright, but nothing beats the sound of a real drummer sweating it up. Will there be vocals at any point? Also what recording program and equipment do you use?
-
Sweet, i'll take a look at that tomorrow. Thanks man.

Another thing i like to do (could just be me though) is have a pair of closed headphones and listen to the track RAW with the screen turned off and see what needs doing that way. If you feel its getting too much, take a break and come back to it.

Sounds pretty good, except, i dunno what it is but the guitar(s) seems a bit...quiet. Are there two guitarists in the band or just one? If there is two i usually pan one to the left and one to the right. Not hard left/right, but about 75% of the way. If you only have one guitar i usually copy the track and pan it the same as two guitars, but thats just me. Other than that sounds good.

I was thinking about making one out of aluminium, but alas that colour doesn't go with Blue very well...
-
Man, i was thinking about this earlier...i wish they made them from 7 strings >_<

Add lyrics, have a small solo towards the end, then it would be awesome!

Man the guys who take the time to do this kind of thing have got to get a life....
Well, if you live in your parent's basement and you know you're never going to get laid, sooner or later the porn is going to get old...
Lies i tell you LIES!!

I love my V-Amp 2. It has the perfect sound i want for my 7 stringed pop-rock. Some of the effects (chorus, phaser, etc.) sound really crap, but other sound godly. Also, i have the FCB1010 and the wah sound on that is ****in' sweet!

I went to frankie & Bennies (sp?) with my girlfriend and had a huge bacon cheeseburger...i barely finished it, but it was god-like.

Do you ship to the UK?

There is more attitude in a tin of beans than in this forum XD

I love the shape, it wouldn't bother me about not being able to go above the 15th fret too much cos its rare i use it. The only thing i would of done is make the body a bit fatter, but then again that could just the picture making it look slightly skinny.
Need Help With My Lp Wiring...
in Electronics Chat
Posted
Hi there,
I re-wired my Les Paul about 3 months ago and have JUSt noticed that i tone pot for the neck pick-up doesn't seem to work. I had to buy brand new pots and selector cos the old ones were knackered (didn't switch or volume). I KNOW the new pots work though cos when i turn the volume on both pickups down they work, and the tone pot on the bridge works, but the neck pick up just seems to sound muddy and when i turn the tone pot down there is just a SLIGHT change, nothing major. I've checked my wiring and there doesn't seem to be anything touching groung that shouldn't.
I have an Air Norton in the neck and Evo in the bridge. Its the same combo i have in my Ibanez, but the air norton in my Ibanez sounds MUCH better that this one. I think i'm just cinfused on the 4 pots thing.
Cheers.
