  1. Hi there,

I re-wired my Les Paul about 3 months ago and have JUSt noticed that i tone pot for the neck pick-up doesn't seem to work. I had to buy brand new pots and selector cos the old ones were knackered (didn't switch or volume). I KNOW the new pots work though cos when i turn the volume on both pickups down they work, and the tone pot on the bridge works, but the neck pick up just seems to sound muddy and when i turn the tone pot down there is just a SLIGHT change, nothing major. I've checked my wiring and there doesn't seem to be anything touching groung that shouldn't.

I have an Air Norton in the neck and Evo in the bridge. Its the same combo i have in my Ibanez, but the air norton in my Ibanez sounds MUCH better that this one. I think i'm just cinfused on the 4 pots thing.

    Cheers.

  2. I'm posting this in here because i think its the most related thread still going...sort of.

I'm using Tracktion 2 at the moment, but i'm tempted to move over to Cubase SX3, but for £150+ its big step to go. I'm wondering if anyone here uses it and how to use and get used to is it? I'll be using my old Delta1010 with it, so any problems i should be aware of?

    Cheers.

  3. Much, much better. It sounds more full compared to the first one, the bass and panning both the guitars makes it sound like a different track completely.

I've used beatcraft before, its alright, but nothing beats the sound of a real drummer sweating it up. Will there be vocals at any point? Also what recording program and equipment do you use?

  4. Sounds pretty good, except, i dunno what it is but the guitar(s) seems a bit...quiet. Are there two guitarists in the band or just one? If there is two i usually pan one to the left and one to the right. Not hard left/right, but about 75% of the way. If you only have one guitar i usually copy the track and pan it the same as two guitars, but thats just me. Other than that sounds good.

  5. I love my V-Amp 2. It has the perfect sound i want for my 7 stringed pop-rock. Some of the effects (chorus, phaser, etc.) sound really crap, but other sound godly. Also, i have the FCB1010 and the wah sound on that is ****in' sweet!
