Guitarfrenzy just confused me...

thegarehanman, Ibanez did my neck and bridge and it has been set up.

Now that you mention the bridge, i have packed wood blocked behind it so it doesn't move anymore. Its like a standard strat trem excecpt it floats on two pegs instead of being screwed in...

Its any fret passed the 4th fret. And nope, its not scalloped.

The fret size is medium, not jumbo...

On my guitar (7string) everytime i hold slightly tigher on the 7th and 6th strings they go slightly sharp. I am using 10s and a .54 for the 7th. Any idea on what could be causing this? I'm not pushing down with much force at all which makes me wonder why its doing this.

Suggestions?

I like to keep things simple all the time. I find that a 3 way switch annoys me cause i can't decide which position i like the best. My next guitar i will wire it so i have both HM on with a master Tone and Volume.

Effects wise i have a distortion pedal and a chorus. I like the simple options, it means a lot less things to go wrong =P

I love Malmsteen's guitar, it just looks...sweet. But the LP gets my vote, i love the inlays and colour.

It was a hard choice though cos all of the guitars this month kicked arse, well done guys!

This is a pretty good project. How much has it cost you so far?

Also, the headstock reminds me of Mr Jelly, but, i don't like it.

I want a good fuzz pedal, but iwant one i can control...any suggestions and sound clips?

Looking good idch. I am actually liking the idea you've got here with the belly contour. I'm not a big fan of strats but i love Teles especially semi-hollow ones in white...

I like my music to have meaning, but to also have some good guitaring or beat that makes it slightly more exiting. IMHO too technical = boring, too emotional = whiney.

Idch, I like the way you do things. That would seem to cut out all the band arguments with each musician liking different taste. Put down the basic print of the music and find the others to add to it.

Hmm...thing is, i either haveno time, or i get stage fright. I know that i am a pretty decent guitarist, but i hate the fact if i cock up, people will get the wrong idea. I shall wonder the interweb for a local board.

Ok...i haven't played in/with a band for well over a year and i miss the arguments, the music and the atmosphere. Since i've started work i haven't spoken to anyone who plays any kind of instrument and i don't talk to many of my old friends (due to them being too busy with their family, which is understandable =P)

So...how would one go about trying to get a band together. I can post tons of posters around my town advertising i am looking for a band/members, but no one seems to pay any attention to them...any other ideas?

Ok, i have tested every component and i know they all work, but i can't find a way to wire a standard strat style 3 way switch. All the books i have say they look like this:

4321

But the one i have goes like this:

| | | | | | | |

I have tried connecting the two end ones as the output and the 4 centre ones where the humbuckers attatch to, but this just killed the circuit. I'm not sure if the switch is meant to be simetrical(sp) from the middle tags. Any suggestions from people?

Looks nice man. Nice shape and love the finish. The only thing i don't like is the headstock, only because i can see it being broke.

I wonder if he means that, if you never pointed out your routing anyone would of noticed it...
