I tried the search thing and i couldn't find anything about what books people have used...(known my luck, i bet the the search feature dislikes me). So, what good books would come in handy for someone who wants to get a basic grasp of this?

I saw Matts early Les Paul where he cut a hole in it and stuck his pedal in there himself. Looked better then, than it does now imo.

I'm using car spray paint to paint mine. I've used a Grey Primer on the body first to make sure the paint goes on ok...it looks good so far!!

If i was going to make an Explorer or a Flying V could i use a bolt on neck with the TOM or would it have to be glued in?

i think you mean F#,B,etc...

right? i think you are misjudging your intervals...if you tune the 7th string to A,then you have to either tune the 8th string to E or C...and only C makes sense in that case

right?
