Hi folks,
I am building a neck thru string thru v-style guitar. I used a Carvin neck and a low profile TOM bridge that will be sunk into the bodu about an 1/8/ or so.
I have the guitar strung up and intonated with the bridge sitting on the body to check the postioning before making permanent holes. What a have discovered is that the bridge is about an 1/8 to 3/16 farther back that the mesurement indicated it should be. The guitar is in tune and intonated correctly. The action is about an 1/8 or so to hight until I sink the bridge.
My question is: Will the intonation (not the tune) change when i lower the bridge, and if so should i move the bridge towards the neck where the mesurement indicated or leave it where it is because it is in tune?
thanks,
Dennis
